About Shawn Marie

Shawn Marie is a dynamic, independent licensed insurance broker who has been helping Medicare-eligible individuals navigate their healthcare options in both English and Spanish since 2014. With a deep commitment to service and a compassionate approach, her work is shaped by her background in International Business, specializing in Latin America. Though leaving her Spanish Immersion teaching role in Texas was bittersweet, returning to Colorado to be closer to family and focus on Medicare clients has been incredibly rewarding.

Her journey into Medicare began during her time teaching in Dallas-Fort Worth, where she would accompany her father, veteran Medicare broker Jesse Swagerty III, on evening and weekend appointments. Assisting with Spanish translations, Shawn Marie unknowingly laid the groundwork for her future in the field. Today, she serves Medicare beneficiaries across Colorado, Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas.

Over the years, Shawn Marie has earned recognition from leading healthcare organizations such as UnitedHealthcareGroup, Humana, Agent’s Legacy, and Agent’s Pipeline for her leadership, ethical standards, and commitment to helping others.

Outside of her professional life, Shawn Marie is an avid adventurer who enjoys exploring Colorado’s great outdoors through hiking, camping, and traveling. Her love for people, animals, and nature fuels her zest for life and all its seasons.
